Journal Snap is a client-side web application. Your trade journal data is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage on your own device. We do not operate any servers that collect, process, or store your personal trading data.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of the following: your trade records, P&L figures, notes, screenshots, account balances, broker information, or any other data you enter into Journal Snap.

None of your journaling data ever leaves your browser.

Local Storage

Journal Snap uses your browser's localStorage API to save your trades and settings. This data is stored locally on your device and is not shared with us or any third party. You can clear this data at any time by using the app's built-in Export/Import tools to back up your data, then clearing your browser's site data.

Cookies & Analytics

Journal Snap may use third-party advertising services (such as Google AdSense) which may place cookies on your device for the purpose of serving relevant advertisements. These services have their own privacy policies and data practices.

We do not use any first-party analytics or tracking cookies.

Google AdSense

We may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Children's Privacy

Journal Snap is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Trading financial instruments is an activity intended for adults.
